Welcome to the newly revised official website of the 6th Queen Elizabeth's Own Gurkha Rifles.
Visitors will notice that "The Regiment" section now contains a full Abridged History and additional Battles and archive photographs. In addition, we have added a "Notice Board" as well as a "Members Area".
The website is provided and maintained by the 6th Gurkha Rifles Regimental Association with the aim of helping to perpetuate the memory of the Regiment for all those who had the privilege and pleasure to serve in it.
The intention is that it will be used as a means of communicating the activities of "The Association" and "The Trust" as well as informing visitors of the activities of the 6th Gurkhas, both past and present. The principal object of the Association is to foster esprit de corps and comradeship and to preserve the traditions and history of the Regiment for all former members of the Regiment and members of the Association.
